OWH mid week throwdown

Brrr .. it's a cold nearly last day of February here in Wisconsin!  The sun was shining brightly but I didn't feel like going out, even though I had the afternoon off of work, so I made a few cards.  I finished the sketch and mid-week throwdown challenge for Operation Write Home.  This week the midweek challenge was to use the color teal

This card will go in my box for Operation Write Home.  The flowers are from Stampin' Up the sentiment from Close to my Heart

This card is for my niece's birthday.  Again the sentiment is CTMH, the flowers are SU

Thanks for Looking

the final weekend challenge for the card bowl 2014 is to use today's sketch at Operation Write Home and to make a masculine card in one of the themes they accept for cards

I'm a scrap retreat this weekend and supplies are limited so I chose to make a cricut cut from Nifty Fifties for this card

Today's challenge on the Operation Write Home weekend card bowl is also the February challenge of the month .. to use brown on a card

I decided to make a card that has a basketball instead of a football, that season is almost over plus I like to watch basketball :)
